A picture is not a thousand words. The image world is a whole other language. A universal language that expresses thoughts, ideas, and emotions for which there are no comparable words. Colors, shapes and forms may be possible to describe at times, but that other visual language is in its own realm and suffers greatly in translation to written words. Turn off that need for written expression. Fly with the visual.

An early passion for natural science was prompted by my first grade teacher in Mill Valley Always drawing since then on to the present. Art major at Wheaton and Whitworth, then I went on to the Masters program at San Francisco State. I did not quite finish that program.

Galleries, framing, and fire fighting supported my paint habits. Now I am back to 'all painting' for these last twenty years.
